I see lots of M's and Super M's among other tractors running a straight chrome pipe at the antique tractor pulls. We tried to run one on a 46 M but found the tractor never ran as good or had as much power. Don't know if this had something to do with not enough back pressure on the old stock engine or what. The other tractors seem to run fine, but then again we usually outpull them, very seldom been beat by another M. Power wise would be the one thing I would keep an eye on. The tractors do sound good running a chrome pipe though. Terry
