The trans."pilot" brg. failed alot when the H&M series were used for heavy tillage. Jumping out of 5th gear was the first indication of failure. The brg.is used or turning in all speeds & rev. Except 5th ,there it is used to hold the pinion shaft in alignment with the input shaft. The fix could be like the rest of the project.
