What's wrong is there is probably still too much oil in the assembly. Remove the fill hole screw and turn the fan hub around until the fill hole is at the very bottom. Let the oil run out of it until it stops. There is a short standpipe on the inside of the hub to ensure enough oil is still inside when you drain off the excess like this. If oil still leaks out the back while running, try installing a proper sized "O"ring around the mounting bolt up against the back of the hub. It stopped mine from leaking.
