MJD,

Thank you for sharing this letter to all. This country we live in is wonderful indeed. I thank God for those who served our country in the past and in the present. My Grandfather served during the second World War, and my Father during Vietnam. There is much to be said for the feeling one gets when the flag of The United States of America is flying, and we sing our National Anthem.

Be proud of him. Keep him in your prayers. And may I say "thank you" to those who currently serve, wherever you are stationed.
