Hey Reddog -- no, after working in Muskegon for a few years I left Mich in the 1970s and wandered around the world working on Department of Defense projects, then returned to my home state of New Hampshire a few years back where my IH 240U moves snow, logs, and field stones. But my wife is from GH. We have one daughter going to Hope right now and the other graduated from Hope a couple years ago and works in Ann Arbor. Michigan and particularly Ottawa County will always be my second home! Dave D

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
