While the price may be in line for a CIH 235, it seems to me to be an over-kill for the acerage you claim. If you want to stick to an IH product, I agree with Hugh MadKay that there are some decent Cubs, or Super A, 130, or 140"s out there for much less than the $7,000 being asked for the 235. Any of these models would serve you well for nearly anything you would consider doing an a 3,5 acre plot, from gardening to show removal. These models are also equipped with a well engineered hydraulic system which has been very reliable through the last 50+ years.
