Advise on BN as a mower

I have a Farmall BN Cultivision. The tractor needs new rubber and one rear rim. Since I need to replace those anyway and I really don't need the tractor for anything else, I am considering mounting a belly mower on it and use it for mowing. A few questions: Would a BN with a Woods mower be a reasonable mower for a large lawn? How does the cut compare to a good lawn tractor mower? The BN currently has 10-24 tires; would turf tires this size be a good idea if the tractor would be used exclusively for mowing? I currently only mow about three acres but may be mowing another four to five acres in a few years. Thanks for any advise.
