i think the trailer is fine for what you want, im assuming the dodge is a h/d 2500 at least? i have the cummins in mine and average 17 mpg with 16,000 lbs of trailer on the hiway, that hemi should have the power, but you might find it is thirsty ,i for one would like to know what kind of fuel economy you experience . i got 178000 miles on mine at the cost of 1 starter,and 1 tranny [ automatic] plus the normal mantenince items ericlb
