Looking for suggestions

Any time I really work my 504 gas it will start to dump some oil out of the breather (top of valve cover). Not a whole lot, just enuf to fill the lip of the valve cover. I didn't notice any problems with the pistions (fire craters) when I did a head gasket 50 hrs or so ago. And their is no problem with starting, smoke, or power. Any suggestions on what it might be?? Thanks!
