My memory is probably dimmer than most, but I spend many hours with an H and vegetable culivator-50 years ago. I believe the front cylinders attached more or less as in your pictures. The rear cultivator had its own cylinder, with one end hooked to an arm to the rear cultivator, the other end, I believe, attached to the arm inserted in the holes in the bottom of the lift all. As stated in an earlier post, we tried to use the delay valve, without success most of the time. It really wasn't required for our purposes, just made things a little neater when it worked.
