If I'm correct, IH never made an electric start for the F-series. Guy Fay and many others have searched with no luck finding such records suggesting that IH produced such a thing. However, several after market companies produced electric start for those tractors I know for sure in the 1940's (Maybe late 1930's but I have no proof). I wouldn't say they are rare but you sure don't see them to often. The electric start option was not cheap back in the day and many farmers just waited and bought the M's and H's of the day which included many more options. IH did produce lights and generators for the F-series.
