The pulling disks on my sleeve puller are roughly between 3/4 and an inch thick. They have a "step" in them that when used on stock sleeves, will automatically center the disc in the sleeve. They also are machined flat on opposing sides allowing them to be slid down the sleeve without having to remove them from the puller each time. I�m not sure what brand it is however, as my uncle bought it back in the late 1940�s.
