scott, As Gene has stated, it is easier to do with unit off of the tractor. Yes there are a lot of parts in there, but when you take the front cover off, make yourself a sketch of all the bores looking at the front of the unit. After doing this, get a bunch of plastic bags and number them to correspond with each bore. Your touch control manual, $7.95 from Binder Books, will show the sequence of how the parts go into the bores. This will really help you when you want to reassemble your unit. Hope this helps. scotty
