Ken, thanks for clearing that up. The article I quoted did say that one million Farmalls were produced at the Farmall Plant, but made no mention that the one millionth tractor was actually produced earlier, as the article was strictly about the Farmall plant. The article says "For it was in April, back in 1926, that the original Farmall,the world's first successful all purpose, all crop tractor, was built at the same plant, then called the Tri-City Works.--(next paragraph)--It took 25 years, many millions of dollars, and the concentrated, combined efforts of thousands of Harvester employees to build the one-millionth Farmall tractor--". It did not note that the 1st Farmall (Regular) was built somewhere else. Thus the confusion. We need to frame your post and put it on top of everyones computer.--And put three of them on Hugh McKay's!!
