To take out the pilot bearing you need a plow chisel(cape chisel? cant remember) The old bronze will split easily. Just be careful not to booger up the bore when you do this. Any nicks can be carefully cleaned up with a small roundish jewelers file. The new one should drive right in with a punch the same size as the bearing.

The sleeve can be driven out of the throwout bearing by using a piece of pipe the same size as the sleeve (little smaller)and a hammer in between 2 vise jaws. Then I pressed the new one on using the vise as a press.
