As I like to tell my students at the college, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Lift-all on the Farmalls is gravity down and power up to the best of my knowing. Some three points, by the way, can pressure down. It was an option on my Ford when I bought it new in 1989. Only real use I would have had for it was the post hole digger and I passed on the option.
