I haven't worked on my H, but I replaced my BN clutch release bearing. I didn't have an arbor press (which would be best), so I just destroyed the original bearing with a hammer and chisel, then press fit the new bearing in with a block of wood and hammer on a flat surface. I was careful not to touch anything but the bearing with my chisel - as it came apart I was able to loosen and remove the bearing surface. It's crude, but it worked well and took about 20 minutes total.
