Bill: Yes, 1979 was the last production year for the 140. After 40 years of much the same tractor with some improvments, IH ended it. What they replaced it with, you don't want to know about. I have two friends that bought new 274s, they no longer have them. One guy has a SA and the other a 130.

The name McKeen was quite common in my home town of Middle Musquodoboit. However if you put McKeen and Thomson together that sounds like Pictou County. Most likely one of the towns of New Glasgow, Westville, Stellarton, Trenton or Pictou.
