Actual DBHP can only be calculated using this equation: DPHP = Drawbar Pull (measured in pounds) x Tractor Speed (in feet/minute) / 33,000 You can roughly estimate DBHP knowing engine flywheel HP recognizing it"ll vary depending on transmission losses, tractor weight, type of surface the tractor is running over (loose dirt vs hard pack, etc.), % tire slippage, etc. Figure about .7 to .8 x flywheel HP for most tractors.
