I would have went with the recovering route however there was some seriously botched up rewelding done to the spokes of the old wheel (one spoke broke loose amidst all that puddle of welding blob).When I cut the old hub off,I found that one spoke was cut off squarely,and very rusty,indicating the huge blob of weld never penetrated the spoke whatsoever.One would think a big pile of weld would be strong,but when it never melts the parent metal,its not strong at all.
