Going back to when the Farmall A and the Farmall B were introduced, although they were both the same horsepower, and were both "Cultivision" tractors, the A was designed to handle one row equipment and the B was designed to handle two row equipment. The design of the traactor in this case (A, B, C, SA, SC) rather than the horsepower is what determined the one or two plow designation. Harold H
