Hi Dave, Those cylinders (one on each side) mounted to a bracket that tied to the rear axle housing on each side of the tractor. The brackets mounted to the axle just like the drawbar did and is why the drawbar had to be removed. You couldn't see the "ram" of the cylinder because it worked up inside of a "tube" affair that was attached to the lift linkage. They were kind of a neat old setup. Allan
