Paul: Right after I read this about 3 hours ago, I went to my shop, spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to mount a TA in the torque tube of my Super A. I figured it may be quite important that I have TA now that my SA is relegated to mowing duty only. After much deliberation I decided the reason SA and SC never needed TA, was they had a better torque curve than the SH or SM. Now my good better half, asked if I was planning on spending Christmas in the shop. She said,"You haven't done anything in that shop for 2 months and very little all summer, now with family coming for the holliday, you are going to spend all your time out there." I told her I was making some adjustments to my snow blade, getting ready for that next big blow of Lake Huron wind. That she will believe, now if I can just get that cast torque tube to stretch. Problem is, it's got to stretch all one way as hydraulics will not fit in the fuel tank. I'll keep you posted, maybe I'll try fitting a John Deere power shift in there. That would turn the SA into a versatile mowing machine.
