I would be greateful if you could help me with forllowing problem. I have an IH 674. Hydraulics stopped to work. I opened the filter + removed valve and pump. The main filter was clogged with some resin subtance and small metal pieces (copper?). Also the lubricating pump mesh was partially clogged. I found also few pieces of sixe 1/2 x 1 inch below the PTO clutch. Where does this black substance come from? What do I need to do to remove the cause of this problem. I don't just like to clean the filters and then try how it works. Could the reason be that I have used normal hydraulic oil not the IH special one. Could this be parts of brake disks as specially handbrake does not work very well?
