Been through this with a W6, have you removed the retainer bolt? Assuming that you did, heat the axel with a torch as you have been doing, then spry you favorite flavor of penetrant on it (while it"s still hot). Before you do that, install some sort of puller on the wheel and load it. It took a few repetitions for mine. One of the parts ttractors I had, I ended up pulling the whole assembly, after removing the bull gear, and putting it in a press. The joys of tractorin" ?
