Like Ace said check your plugs and also your timing , And it would not hurt to do a major tuneup like set the valves check the dist for proper advance . The carbs on 06' are pertty much idiot proof all you can set is the ideal mixture unless some one did away with the shut off selinoide and replaced with a needel valve and in that case then you must fine tune or replace with the fuel shutoff. Becareful with the timming as 291's are real fussy on total advance and always run the 93 octain fuel. And Don't use Champions plugs.
