ive got a 706 diesel i bought over a year ago. i love this tractor to death. anyhow, the ta works fine going from ta to direct, but going from direct to ta, it will freewheel for about ten seconds or so, then kick in hard. so i havnt been using the ta. so my question is, what goes wrong in these things. ive got an it manual, and from what i can tell theres two hydraulic clutches in there, one for direct and one for ta. could it be that the one for ta is leaking, and then filling up after a few seconds and locking in? or am i shooting the wrong way? i redid the ta on my 300 a couple years ago, so id like to try this one also, just hoping to get some info before hand. thanks nate
