i think what you have heard about is switching the shifter too a 56 series style. i'm not sure on the models but i think if you can find a 756 in the junk yard you can take the shifter setup off and put it on the 706. now that i think about it i think any 56 series will work. somebody please correct me if i'm wrong:( casey in SD
