If you had to put in 20 gallons of oil i would pull the top link cover at the rear of the tractor where and checked to see if the hose 40376R1 is split. If this hose is bad you will suck air and with you putting in 20 gallons of oil you have raised the oil level up so the hose is under oil. When we had 656 still running around this would happen all the time.
