i have this problem on occasion,it comes down to a battery cable end usually on the positive side,(i always pull my cable off when i'm done using it,).i was working on getting mine started one day and it would not for the life of it turn over ,i finally just held the starter button in and after about 3 seconds she started smoking under the dash,so think to myself the button bit the dust,so go get a new one and thought just for the heck of it i'd clean the cable ends real good and it fired right up and hasn't given me trouble since,but when that button does die i got one,
