Did you measure the cylinders and valve guides for wear? Cylinder walls have a glaze created by the old rings and you need to run a glaze breaker in each cylinder. Then wash each one with warm soapy water. Then rinse and dry and coat with oil. This gives the new rings a surface so the new rings can seat themselves. I would run the tractor under load to see if it stops smoking. Some rings take a little longer to seat themselves. Hal
