Well now, I was opening a field and sighted in on a small tree at the far end of the field. 1/2 mile rows. Turned out to be neighbors cow and she wasnt standing still. Thems the rows Dad was complaining about. I dont know how the oldtimers(were getting there Allan)could keep rows even and straight without markers. But they werent going 7-8mph either. 3.5 would be more like it. steveormary
