Yep, there it is. I see the picture in the manual. Apparently our 460 is not "so equipped."

I don't know its purpose other than being a load holding/safety valve instead of this task being handled by the lift cylinder's control valve. If so, then it would likely be pilot operated very much like a backhoe outrigger valve--it has to be pressurized for it to operate.

Might as well bypass the check valve and remove it from the circuit. Give it a shot.
