Gentlemen, keep in mind this 89" dimension is from the outside of the existing rubber tires, not the axle. The cutoffs are the old skeleton steel wheels that have been turned outwards when the rubber rim was welded on. That's why it is so wide as it sits now, even though it is a narrow rear end. If it wasn't a narrow it would be at least 8-1/2 feet to 9 feet wide.
