You should not have to bleed the air out, but if you want you can crack a connection and let some out. But, you may spill some hydraulic oil, which in some areas is considered a hazardous material so you may have to call the fire department to come and remediate the spill. Your homeowners' insurance may not cover the cost so it would be wise for you to take remediation training first, then curb the area in which you expect to discharge the hazardous material, warn the neighbors, don your protective suit, spread absorbant, and have paramedics stand by along with a safety watch with fire extinguisher. Should everything go as planned, be sure to dispose of the contaminated absorbant properly. This should include giving an advance copy of the MSDS for the hazardous material to those whom you expect to receive the waste. Should things not go as planned, just don't say I didn't warn you : )
