Hi, the timing cover that has to be removed is on the front side on the rad side then you take the nut off and drive the shaft out of the timing gear. My memory maybe incorrect, I could be confused with Bosch pump from 454. It could have a three bolt flange coupling to the injector pump but it would only fit in the proper place. Is your lift pump working properly. It should squirt fuel a couple feet at the inlet pipe to the injector pump. Good luck JB
