Found the leak in the block. It is a pin hole leak above the camshaft about a half inch toward the center of the block from the valve tappet. Will JB Weld work on this? Would it be better than block or radiator sealant? Randy First Post: Farmall M, which is a dry sleeve...just purchased, drained antifreeze down far enough to replace water header gasket (block about half full), pulled oil pan and replaced gasket, did not refill with antifreeze. One month later I again took the oil pan off to replace the petcocks and found quarter cup of antifreeze. I pulled the head to check headgasket. How do I know if I have a leaky headgasket? From underneath the engine I found a drop of antifreeze on the block between cyl. 2 and 3 and on the cyl. 3 connecting rod bolts. The camshaft was clean. If a cracked block what are my choices? The tractor is used about 4 hours per month. Randy
