The 240 has a C-123 engine putting out 32 horses. The 340 has a C-135 and is rated at 36 horsepower. They are both very handy little tractors and neither one had very high production numbers, so they make good usuable collectible tractors to own. Price will vary greatly on the condition of the tractors. Some parts can be hard to find if needed.
