It is press fit on there tighter then tight! I had to use a bearing splitter and pulley puller on it. It took the better part of 2 days for me. I think one thing that helped was soaking the shaft/pulley in a good dose of penetrating oil before I went to bed the one night. The next day I gave her a lot of heat and a lot of muscle. I broke 2-3/8" drives, and 3-sockets I was reefing so hard. My suggesting is to use high quality sockets and drives, preferably 1/2" and a good 3 ft cheater bar on the end of it. Make sure the tools are guaranteed for life and just take them back when you break them. Good luck!

P.S. it went back on a lot easier then it came off
