Let it soak for a few days, have you removed the bigger brass metering stem in the center of the bowl? if that is plugged up, the passages go though the casting straight to the metering stem, usually, the stem gets clogged up, and it spreads into the idle circuits. you should be able to hit it with the air from all the passages around the jet, where the metering stem is located, and air should come out both holes you described. if not keep soaking it, and blowing it out with air until it cleans out. Worst carb I have ever messed with was on off of a burned tractor, took me 2 weels to get it cleaned out, it runs great!! Hope this helps,, ChadS
