Spud: Look at it this way, new tractor is going to cost you about $750. per hp. Used will not be much unless you invest minamum of $200. per hp. I am speaking of a tractor that will be reliable when you want it. As Kelly said you may be able to save on the labour, by doing yourself. I'm not so sure that the $200. per hp will cover the labour.
