It works. Just observe polariies (+ to +, - to -) and unhook when it fires up.
Do not create sparks near the battery to prevent an explosion; (presuming your tractor is positive grounded) connect the 12 volt neg. jumper cable to the starter lug and the 12 volt pos. jumper cable to a frame ground away from the battery.
