IH 350 Diesel Problem

My 350 Utility with Continental 193 and Roosa pump had been running well. Suddenly it began to miss as if running out of fuel.It has lots of fuel. The engine is now very hard to start, lacks power, stalls easily, runs roughly and sometimes flames and sparks come out the exhaust. Exhaust produces lots of gray/white smoke. Loosening the bleeder plug on the pump produces lots of clear fuel. Loosening each injector line in turn causes a loss in RPM, all cylinders about equally.
Has something come apart inside the pump? It was rebuilt about 1000 hours ago. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
