I agree with rusty, save your money on lead additive and put it in a jar somewhere. The worst thing that can happen is the valve seats could wear into the head. If that happens, you get a new harder seat cut into the head and you are good to go. If you want to prevent the seat from wearing you can pull the head and do the seats now. There is a chance if the engine has been apart in the last 15 years that there are already the newer harder seats in the head, in which case the lead additive is a total waste of money.
