WOW! I just pulled two apart from junk yard tractors that just about fell of in my hand.
Yes turn it CCW you could go to your local hardware and look for I think its map gas its a little hotter than propane. Or you can try that chissel just be carefull not to hurt that crank.
Or you can cut it with a dremel and diamond wheel . And find a new nut at the dealer or junk yard . Just a few thoughts .
P.S. There are also parts places that will loan out tools some for free. Auto zone, advance auto, more, You could get the 3/4" set and might be eiser for you . JON.
