With respect to the glow plugs, my 282 likes at least 30 seconds, and the manual says a minute and a half in very cold weather. This requires a watch because 90 seconds holding that button is a long, long time.

Crack the lines open at the injectors and it will at least tell you where the fuel is (or isn't).
