Question on front wheel brg seals on a H.

Hello, I just bought a set of front bearing kits for my Farmall H. The felt that goes behind the rubber seal seems to be too big to fit in the hub assembly. Anyone had this trouble before? Also should I oil the felts before I put the hub on?
Another question, the kit did not come with the cups that the rubber seal rides in. My IH dealer said they are no longer available, I havent found any on here either. Any information would be greatly appeiciated. Thank you.
