Serial number plate is on the left side of the clutch housing. It's about 2"x4", often gets painted over, and it is not unusual for it to fall off. I found one of the part numbers you gave in the 240 parts book, 369 018 R1 is the transmission cover, 369 017 R1 does not appear in the parts listings for anything closely related to a 240, I checked it's closest relatives, the C, Super C, 200, 230, and 404. I also checked under Farmall A and B, Super A, 100, 130 and 140, all of which have about the same transmission. I also checked the 330 and 340, which are bigger, but the 340 is often confused with the 240.
