JON, The first fire is good blue fire. I do not sand any points, I have point files for that. Points are .013. I filed them, clean with lint free paper. I have done everything that I normally do when working on lawn mowers. On your coils, have you had good luck with them??? How often do you ship them? Usually at this point on a lawn mower, I replace the coil, but I have 3 mags doing the same thing. So I guess it is time to take all apart, clean again, then if still nothing have you send me a coil. do you take any credit cards or anything like that??
