You need to split the tractor at the clutch housing. A good jackstand and floor jack under the clutch housing, and splitting stands on the front frame rails, preferably rolling splitting stands. Then remove the bolts between the rear engine plate and clutch housing, and roll the tractor apart. Then you'll see what to do.
